Hopeless 7 Hints of an outdated interior

Closets in the whole wall

Soviet”walls” have long lost their relevance, but some people still can not give up this type of bulky storage method. What’s the disadvantage of such furniture? Massive cabinets of unnatural dark brown colour visually toxin the inside, eating up nearly half of their valuable space. Many argue that the”walls” are very roomy, and so crucial, but is it really necessary to store a massive number of items in the home?

Psychologists have long ago determined when you unclutter your flat, you get rid of not only the obsolete stuff, but also of unwanted ideas, making space on your favourite home and in your head. If the budget does not allow replacing furniture with fresh, it’s possible to simply disassemble the walls socket and, leaving a part of the cabinets, then repaint them into a lighter color. Nowadays, remodeling old furniture will be deservedly gaining in popularity.

Gypsum plasterboard structures.

As soon as gypsum appeared on the construction market and became available, many designers started to show its capabilities, constructing inconceivable walls, arches, multi-level ceilings and niches. Now the world is striving for minimalism. Modern experts no longer recommend overloading the room with drywall compositions which have no function apart from cosmetic. Creating such a style, a person instantly turns his new inside into an obsolete one.

Wallpaper using a print across the room

A large or small pattern on the wallpaper, which can be pasted over the whole room, visually overloads the interior, creating visual sound. It saves neither the designer furniturenor the ideal order, nor smart lighting. This is particularly unattractive if the ornament is contrasting. Wallpaper over the whole wall space automatically creates the atmosphere look old-fashioned. If you prefer active background , it is recommended to use it in dose: over a little region of the wallsocket.

Curtains with Plenty of details

Another anti-trend from the inside – curtains and tulle with a huge number of folds, ruffles and ornaments. Fabric stores are interested in the simple fact that the customer acquires”luxurious” Rolex drapes, or better yet, hire a designer and pay a whole lot of money for entire compositions using lambrequins along with hemstitches. But in average apartments, these creations look weird. Instead of the outdated trend, it’s far better to give preference to simple laconic curtains and roller blinds.

Furniture with rounded corners.

Computer desks with smooth lines, radius closets for clothes, kitchen places having curved facades – that furniture became memorable as soon as it appeared in the Russian market, and is still successfully sold.

Granite countertops might be convenient, but in a contemporary interior look old-fashioned and their look attract much attention. The use of original styled furniture is appropriate just in ultra-technological high-tech, but to recreate it will require not only a feeling of design, but also a substantial budget.
